I FULLY understand that this product is made by a company that specializes in mostly pork rubs and this is intended to be their “use on everything but pork” product – but it is REALLY REALLY good on pork. We get a pork roast, FULLY encrust the roast with about 1/4 inch of seasoning, and toss it in a low oven at 120 deg C-ish for several hours – obviously longer for larger cuts. It has never let me down. It is unique enough that we serve it to guests and several of them have requested it on return trips. And almost nothing could possibly be easier. Encrust the pork, toss it in the oven, then do something else! We slice the pork so it is not confused with pulled pork and do NOT serve it as BBQ but more in the style of a sliced beef roast. I typically use about 1/4 of the bottle on one roast and it makes a crust on the outside which is a very unique flavour and pairs well. Think “mojo” style. If you use a fatty enough pork, you get enough drippings in the roasting pan to make gravy which is even more unique!
